John S. Clark Company’s Chief Financial Officer and Senior Vice President, Greg Marshall, CPA will be presenting information at the Construction Financial Management Association’s (CFMA) Carolina’s Construction Conference on October 30th. The meeting will be held at the Grandover Resort and Conference Center in Greensboro, NC.
Mr. Marshall will participate in a panel discussion titled, “What Keeps CFOs Up At Night.” The panel will discuss current issues that are affecting the local construction industry. Topics to be addressed are:
· Current and expected impact of the economy and their construction backlog
· Increased competition
· Impact of government and industry regulations
· Price escalations of construction materials
· Financial stability of customers and collecting invoices timely
· Labor issues, retaining good employees, immigration, etc.
Mr. Marshall joined John S. Clark Company, LLC in 2000 as Controller and in 2007, was named Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of the company. In addition to being an active member of the CFMA, Mr. Marshall is a member of AICPA, NCACPA and AICPA Tax Section.
