Livian Jones Promoted to Vice President
John S. Clark Company, LLC, a leading general building contractor in the Southeast, has named Livian Jones, a construction business development professional with nearly 20 years of experience, as Vice President. Livian will operate from the company’s Wilmington, NC office and oversee the process of acquiring new business for the company. Integral to that process is developing relationships with potential clients and design professionals that result in John S Clark Company becoming the preferred provider of construction services in the Southeast.
Livian has been in the construction industry since 1989 and is a licensed General Contractor in North Carolina. Livian has been with John S. Clark Company, LLC since 2004. Prior to that role, she managed the Business Development efforts for McKim & Creed for eight years. Livian also served as President of Stephens & Jones Construction.
Livian received a bachelor’s degree from Appalachian State University and a Master’s in Business Administration from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. She is active in many professional organizations including Coastal Carolina Tomorrow Board of Directors, Commercial Development Council, International Council of Shopping Centers, North Carolina Economic Development Association (NCEDA) and National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP).
Livian is an active member of many local community associations including Cape Fear Council Boy Scouts of America Board of Director and Chair of Leadership Luncheons, the Director of Furniture Finders, Greater Wilmington Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, Little Chapel on the Boardwalk member, UNCW Foundation Board and Events Chairperson for the SSN-777 North Carolina Submarine Commissioning. Livian also volunteers her time for various fundraising activities with Cape Fear Habitat for Humanity and Cape Fear Community College.
