Details:
The Swedwood (subsidiary of IKEA) project valued at $30,000,000, consists of a furniture manufacturing facility totaling 900,000 square feet and sitework on approximately 85 acres.
The building is a pre-engineered steel structure on a on a 6” wire reinforced concrete slab with a standing seam metal roof. The exterior wall system will consist of pre-engineered metal wall panels with a liner panel.
This facility is Swedwood’s first installation in the United States. The fast track project is being designed by John S. Clark’s in house architecture firm, Design Inc. of North Carolina. The facility brings 300 jobs to the Danville area.
